Multitrack 9000 Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) from MSG uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the precise location of a vehicle, person, or other asset to which it is attached and to record the position of the asset at regular intervals. The recorded location data can be stored within the tracking unit, or it may be transmitted to a central location data base, or internet-connected computer, through communication network. This allows the asset's location to be displayed on a map both in real-time & offline using customized web based application software.
Multitrack 9000 uses the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) network to give information on asset location, speed, time and direction etc.
Multitrack 9000 is generally used to locate the position of vehicles as they make their journeys and send the information to a centralized database or system through a built in GSM/GPRS modem on a regular basis . The Vehicle location data is stored in the Multitrack 9000 memory whenever GSM network is not available and all stored data is uploaded to the server whenever communication network is found.
